MY PROCESS

To showcase my design process. I created a spec project for a product launch for Nomad.

Tools/Software: Blender, Polligon, Photoshop. The phone case model was premade.

 The Challenge

The goal is to showcase the phone case in a way that fits the Nomad brand's visual identity while also creating a composition that shows the product’s main feature.

The Outcome

I chose refined corrugated metal to convey the phone case's durability while adhering to the brand's simple and elegant branding. This design element worked well because it was easy to manipulate to fit the composition best while maintaining its corrugated look.

Design Process

Most of the time, I start a project by writing down ideas for the renders. I also use this time to write down potential design elements and references.

From here, I collected some mood and design reference images based on the concepts I wrote out.

From here, I created some design explorations. These are used to generate design ideas and find what the image could be.

Finally, I'll block out the composition and model assets as needed. Then, I'll light the product and environment to showcase the best features and create an eye-catching image.
